A Mystical Flow

A Mystical Flow

Beginning with utterance

scriptural and other  
pointing to oneness..

 These seem most often

experienced as thoughts..

Thoughts expressed in language

beholden to subject and object..

 Our oneness seems as split

in our reading..

Our mystics claim

experience must replace thoughts

 to sink into a oneness state..

Need is calling to overcome

 obstacles splitting the peace  

of a oneness all our own..

Yet many are finding 

new peace and happiness

in the simple 

I AM..

Might we ask each other:

Are you aware?

The mind grapples 

to find subject and object

which have disappeared..

Mind must surrender

to the ancient and new

experience 

I AM..
