The Beacon
A beacon of light
stands as a lighthouse
at last seen
through waves and wind
of a troubled sea..
A lighthouse is fixed
as was Epiphany's light..
This light of recognition
with overwhelming joy
of That through which
and as which
the waves and wind
and all that is not fixed
move and unfurl...
9 When they had heard the king, they set out; and there, ahead of them, went the star that they had seen at its rising, until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with joy. (Matthew 2)
