This relative world..it seems.. is

 of solid and weighty disposition

 reported by our perceptions

and our remembered images..

All providing a constancy which

 we leave unquestioned..

That is the bedrock

the sum and substance

of all we know..and can know..

or so it seems..

Old words and new words

describe this sensical truth

which is lauded and etched ..

It is left to the watercolorist

to wipe away the words

and apply a light wash

emerging from a canvas 

of emptiness..

turning her face 
to non-relative

truth...
