N. What ever appears presently as reality is reality. I'm not suggesting any version of reality is more or less important than any other. What i am suggesting is that whatever presently appears as reality can be seen in an entirely different way when not based in a thought filtered view.

Q. But there is a brain. It's the brain that keeps on thinking these thoughts and analysing all the time, moving us from place to place, running our lives and producing all these stories.

N. But does it? Is there really a brain that's thinking thoughts?. Based on present evidence alone, thoughts are just appearing here in awareness. That there is a brain thinking thoughts is itself just another thought that arises as a story in awareness.

If you've never heard all of these stories about brains being responsible for thoughts, then thoughts would simply be appearing mysteriously in awareness, with no brains to be seen anywhere. In fact, that's actually the case right now, that's what I'm pointing out. Going on present evidence, the brain as an instrument for producing thoughts inside theses heads is just an assumption.

Seem founded on the

Exigencies of separation..

As they promulgate their

Seeming reality as beliefs

For the adherent..

The map...

 

The direct path

So-called sometimes

Is often not direct..

There are compromises

With separation's demands

Allowing the separate self

Just a little longer..

With a lofty goal

Disguising happiness

That directional self

Plays victim to a map of 

Enticements..

Impossible it seems to

Recognize happiness as

The map and all...

In reality, it is not the separate self that searches for happiness or returns to its natural, relaxed condition. It is the pull or memory of its natural state that calls the separate self back to its innate condition of fully relaxed, inherently peaceful awareness.

Nothing appears IN something else, it simply appears (seemingly). There is no ether or source, as that would require things/non-things that are separate, ie, source and that which appears in it. Source would be a non-thing, but non-things are things. A thing is that which is believed to have its own existential reality and all supposed things require other supposed things. The illusion of thingness is the illusion of separation.

Trying to see that this is a story is the story. The belief in being able to somehow control the story is the story. The story of desperate seeking is this ever emerging story and so is the shift called enlightenment. This ever emerging livestream is itself a story, as there is no one to pin it down as a truth or a reality and no one to even know it. It plays out similar to a movie, but with no audience, as what would seem to be an audience would be part of the movie. Yet, somehow this is known, but by no one, as the appearance of a belief that there is someone is itself part of the movie. This is utter annihilation, no footholds or handholds. Like free-fall but no faller and therefor no landing. This can't be given or taught or grasped or understood, as the very attempt at grasping and/or understanding is itself part of the scenery. This so-called movie can be compared to a dream. It has no actual reality or unreality as there is no one separate from it to even make such a determination. How is this that’s exactly what is, exactly what’s happening, known? The knowing and the scenery or known are one and the same....not two……no separation whatsoever.

"David Hume pointed out that we do not have an impression of the self. No matter how closely I attend to my own experience, no matter how fully I notice the mental operations presently occurring "in my mind," I am never directly aware of "I." What I do experience is a succession of separate and individual ideas, associated with each other by relations of resemblance and causality. Although these relations may be extended through time by memory, there is no evidence of any substantial ground for their coherence. The persistent self and the immortal soul are philosophical fictions.

To suppose otherwise, Hume held, is to commit a category mistake: the self is just a bundle of perceptions, like the railroad cars in a train; to look for a self beyond the ideas would be like looking for a train beyond the cars. Our idea of a persistent self is simply a result of the human habit of attributing continued existence to any collection of associated parts. Like our idea of the necessary connection of cause with effect, belief in our own reality as substantial selves is natural, but unjustifiable.

Hume supposed, our belief in the reality of an external world is entirely non-rational. It cannot be supported either as a relation of ideas or even as a matter of fact. Although it is utterly unjustifiable, however, belief in the external world is natural and unavoidable. We are in the habit of supposing that our ideas have external referents, even though we can have no real evidence for doing so."

Body parts...

 

Below is a story with resonance for many. Others might say that it seems to be a promising path, but there is no individual to take the path, and therefore no path. These others might also say that a resonance is not apparent here. Such resonance may result from simply paradoxical considerations, such as No-thing appearing as something..or, in this case, Consciousness (No-thing) appearing as the body. "Then there is the moment.." of vanishing..Why does this necessarily follow? If resonance occurs in this situation of described separateness, possibly, but there is persistence in the belief of separateness..and, is the story not simply one of (scientific) observation apparently happening..?

All these words are the same. When you really listen to your body, it is an object of your observation. J.K: When you direct your attention to a part of the body, there is a slight reaction. So I would say do not direct your attention to the part where there is heaviness or resistance, direct your attention to a part which is completely relaxed, transparent, and from there invade the unhealthy part, until you have the whole feeling of your light body.

This issue seems of major importance.  Language has difficulties of 

limiting expression of what can't be described, but also has a lingering effect, 

which amounts to inviting attachment to the words.  Thus, building the

foundation for a new religion. Yet, there seems to be no remedy, if a

remedy is what is sought.  Resonance occurs when it occurs, whether 

resulting from repeated words, or brand new words.
